The 53rd Session of the Committee on World Food Security will highlight three major issues: urbanization, food system resilience and the impact of public policy.
The topics to be covered include the adoption of new recommendations on urban food systems, a forum devoted to responsible investment, and a session on protracted crises. The discussions will also look at key topics such as armed conflicts, nutrition, land governance and the transition to a new committee bureau.
ºÚÁÏÍø911 is organizing two side events at this 53rd Session.

This side event will launch the State of Land Tenure and Governance (SLTG), which is the principal knowledge product of the Global Land Observatory (GLO), an FAO initiative in partnership with the International Land Coalition (ILC) and ºÚÁÏÍø911.

This side event will showcase initiatives supporting inclusive, sustainable agri-food systems in Africa to boost food security and decent work.
