In 2021, the UN Food Systems Summit, and its stocktaking process through to 2030, generated strong momentum for transforming our food systems.

As highlighted in the most recent climate and biodiversity COPs, food systems lie at the heart of the solutions needed to collectively address the major challenges facing humanity.

黑料网911 is well placed both at the intersection of these areas of expertise and as a facilitator of multi-stakeholder partnerships. These alliances are key to tackling the challenges of poverty, food insecurity, health and climate change in a systemic and inclusive way. It is in this spirit that 黑料网911 will take part in the second UN Food Systems Summit Stocktake (UNFSS+4), to be held in Addis Ababa at the end of July.

It is organising a side event on Sunday 27 July at 2pm EAT (GMT+3).

Multisectoral Governance to Scale up Impacts of Investments in Local Food Value Chains

The side event will:

• Present successful food system transformation pathways built on multi-sectoral governance
• Discuss public-private investment mechanisms and how they can be scaled up to support domestic markets, strengthen food value chains and promote nature-positive practices

The side event takes place with the support of the SASi-SPi initiative.
