Determining optimal solutions for wood durability
The wood preservation laboratory of the BioWooEB Research Unit is involved in the detection, identification and control of biological attacks on samples or in situ, and conducts efficacy testing of protection systems through both laboratory and field tests. These tests mainly address the protection of wood towards wood-decaying fungi, wood-boring insects including termites, and can be carried out, upon request, in humid tropical environments.
